Overview
Kate Robinson represents clients in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of a variety of commercial and real estate transactions. Her work also includes advising business clients in a range of corporate law matters and commercial finance transactions. Kate’s practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate, debt financing and corporate law matters.
Kate represents clients in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, focusing on the acquisition, financing, development and disposition of multifamily, mixed use and commercial properties. She represents clients in all phases of real estate transactions, including the formation of joint venture arrangements, the negotiation of purchase and sale documents, real estate diligence and obtaining debt financing. She is experienced in representing clients utilizing a variety of financing sources, including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae loans, bank loans and tax exempt bonds.
In addition, she has experience in a broad range of commercial finance transactions, including working capital loans, leveraged buyouts, project finance transactions, syndicated debt, mezzanine lending and mortgage-backed securities. Her projects have included both debt secured by a variety of asset types and unsecured debt. Her clients have included financial institutions, private equity firms, hedge fund, energy and retail companies.
Kate also works with business clients on a variety of corporate law matters and in the acquisition and disposition of businesses and their assets.
She is admitted to the bar in New York, Oregon and Washington State.
