KTC’s Private School Client Workshop Returns
KTC’s School Client Workshop Series: Winter 2018
Tracy Miller and Celeste Monroe return with their KTC School Client Workshop Series on Thursday, January 18, 2018, to discuss accommodations for students and employees with disabilities. This 3-hour exclusive event includes an 80-minute presentation, followed by several interactive practice scenarios to test your knowledge!
During this workshop, you will learn:
- Federal and state law requirements for student and employee accommodations
- How the knowledge of a disability can and cannot come into play in admission and hiring decisions
- The “interactive process” for determining reasonable accommodations of both student and employee disabilities
- How to manage performance issues when disability is a factor
Let us set the groundwork for you to make informed decisions and provide some real-life scenarios for you to practice what you learn. Continental breakfast will be provided.
*Due to limited space, we ask that each school send no more than two representatives.
